It’s not about the “golden years” coming—because the golden years are a myth. Many outlive their ability to care for themselves. “No Easy Street’ looks at all of the ups and downs of moving toward, and living retirement.
Our Mission and Goal
Our mission is simple and straightforward: To share information of interest to everyone approaching the mythical “Golden Painted Years.” Please join us by following, subscribing, and commenting.
If you were born after 1990, this may not yet be the website for you. However, if you were born ANY TIME prior to that, then No Easy Street is where you need to visit. We are retired people providing current information for those who are both retired, and about to retire. We plan to provide insights on everything from baking Apple Pie to trips to New Zealand. Well, as much as we can, anyway.
Yes, we’re new to blogging, but being nearly 75 years old makes it all the more challenging. We find that we are behind the computer so often that we have to take shifts looking out the window to see what’s happening in the world around us. But whatever it is, we plan to report on it.
We also hope to add many of the side items like recipes, crafts, and well, anything we can find of interest to those who want to make more of retirement. So, we hope you will join us, send us some thoughts, ask some questions, let us know what you would like to know more about! We appreciate you, and hope to hear from you soon.
